THE RESULTS GENERATED ON PRIOR ALLOYS HELPED DESIGN IMPROVED, OPTIMAL ALLOYS FOR TURBINE BLADE APPLICATIONS. THE QUALITY AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF ADVANCED SUPERALLOYS ARE HIGHLY SENSITIVE TO THE PROCESS AND HANDLING TECHNIQUES EMPLOYED DURING CASTING BY A VENDOR.
